Let's Brew:
-
Preheat the walls of your French press with hot water. Dump out the water.
-
Weigh and measure your coffee according to the number of servings you desire. Grind the coffee coarse like bread crumb.
-
Place the French press on your scale, add ground coffee and tare (clear) scale.
-
When your kettle has boiled, remove from heat for 30–40 seconds. Pour recently boiled water over coffee. (Note: If you’re using a scale, you can see exactly how much water you’re using, adjusting until you hit your perfect coffee to water ratio.)
-
Wait 4 minutes while the coffee extracts.
-
Gently stir. The coffee crust on top should settle to the bottom.
-
Push the plunger down slowly and gently.
-
Enjoy!
